Mike Borgia, is a rock/alt band from New York City, exuding expressive lyrics and rhythms to create an eye-opening hook that won't let go. Beneath the muddy surface of indie music lies a newfound greatness of talent. With the energy of an excited puppy, and the vocal ability and range reminiscent of Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) and legendary rock crooner Jeff Buckley, Mike Borgia sings the songs he writes, rocks hard live and has a solid musical background. His group Tread has played big shows like MTV campus Invasion and several CMJ Marathons. Borgia has shared the stage with such acts as Sum 41, The Juliana Theory, American Hi-fi and several other well know acts. His music has attracted thousands of listeners online and has been featured in CMJ & Alternative Press, along with songs from both CD releases currently being spun and Charting on numerous indie/college radio stations across the country and into Europe. Mike's extraordinary musicality and gorgeous definitive songwriting are what we are left with, including his self started record label Luvbomb Records, an ever popular music promotion site "Altsounds.com" and a DIY singer songwriters tour called "The Hard Core Troubadours tour". Mike is currently a Sonicbids agent to further his efforts to promote his music.
