My name is Chris Maguire to be exact. I am a Welsh Record Producer, Graphic and Web Designer, Film Maker, Photographer, Artist and Writer. Phew, that's a mouthful! :). To summarize in two words I would refer to myself as a "multimedia specialist" capable of producing high end work, to tight time frames whatever the medium. I am a freelancer and am available to work with you on your project wherever you are in the world. A keen traveller I have worked extensively in the USA and the UK and have also worked in many European Cities and South Africa. The order of my specialities listed, is what I consider to be my order of favouritism, and skill. Don't let that dis-hearten you though as I have massive quantities of professional experience in all my chosen mediums. This website showcases all my favourite work in an easy to use site. Also demonstrated is my complete audio production discography and current CV/Resume. I am always looking to work with new individuals, companies, bands and artists so if you like what you see and hear then drop me a line using my contact info above or below. From January 1st 2009 I will do my best to update this portfolio after every project completed, across all portfolios so that it remains updated continually.

Click the play button [triangle] on the right to start my audio portfolio. There are over 100 full audio samples available that span all genres (from Acoustic to Grind Core). Some are live recordings, some are Altsounds.com sessions but most are fully produced tracks. Most tracks were also recorded, produced, mixed and mastered in one day to offer the client record label quality service at unsigned band costs by minimizing the studio time wherever possible. This list is not my BEST OF, it is literally every track I master and consider finished and they run in date order i.e. the first song is the last one produced. This only includes stuff produced circa 2004 as my previous efforts (early K-Theory etc) were lost in a hard drive crash. As with all my portfolios, it is updated regularly so keep looking back to check out my newest shit!

I love design. Everywhere I go I don't look at the beauty of something, I look how it can be improved. This ranges from websites and Myspaces to interiors of houses and whatever else. I love working in different mediums and am open, willing and more than able to work with clients of all types from bands all the way up to corporate clients. Photography Portfolio

...cutting edge digital photography that is more like individual art pieces than traditional photography.

I approach photography different to most as I am a digital photographer. I see the actual photo in most cases as just the beginning of the finished product. I incorporate a lot of photo re-touching, photoshop and illustrator work into my photography and aim, with each photo shoot, to come up with a new and original photo that has not been seen before. I would consider my photography to be more custom art pieces than actual Photography in it's truest sense of the word because I consider Photoshop to be as an important a factor into my photographic work as the actual camera and subjects! I can manipulate images to look completely different and what's strange is each time I do a new one, I challenge myself to take it further which I truly get a kick out of. As a child, my brother and I used to make our own movies. There was no editing software and all the cuts were carefully chosen so that they could run into each other and make the final movie! Nowadays I specialize in making Film for the music industry. From full HD music videos, live sessions, video interviews, documentaries and filming of live concerts to animation, special effects, chroma key and after effects work. Whatever you want, and can imagine from an AV perspective I will do my best to make it a reality. One of the jobs I travelled the world most with was when I was a Network Consultant for Newbridge Networks / Alcatel. This role forced me to love the written word as I was responsible for not just analyzing peoples telecommunications networks but by also writing detailed, technical reports detailing the findings. This gave me a massive crash course and since that time I have also branched into the creative and journalistic written word.
