Biography
Fallout started in 1997 out of Sacramento, CA.

Ex-members of the youth crew/punk band Ordinaries - Casey West, Nathan Burror, Andy Neves, and Steve Thomas released a limited self-titled demo under the name Fallout and began playing hardcore shows in the Sacramento and Bay Area.

Steve Thomas was replaced by Jared Anderson on bass. After playing a few months with that line-up, Nick Braden joined as bass player and Jared played a second guitar. As a five member band, Fallout released a second demo and a limited CD version of that demo distro'd through West Coast Worldwide.

Jared Anderson has since left the band. Although Fallout's members are all drug free, calling Fallout a straight edge band isn't necessarily correct. The focus of the band has always been to play straight forward hardcore without confining it to any particular KIND of hardcore. Instead, Fallout's goal is to represent all types of hardcore, and be accessible to all types of people that may be involved or listen to hardcore and punk rock.

Everything from straight edge and oi, it all has its place in hardcore and it is that variety which keeps hardcore interesting and alive.

Everyone has their idea of what we might sound like, but if anyone asks them, they just say "hardcore". Fallout was on United Edge Records until late 2000, after the release of "Live and Learn", which is still available.

Though they broke up for a short time, they are back together and we are looking forward to working with them on their new release in 2004. Comments (0)
