Biography
This little star started out as a lone-star with just her voice, a pen and a guitar. Writing breathy music with sweltering lyrics that would make you want to come down to the deep south and stay awhile. She's no "Southern Belle" since this girl's roots go back to the chicago suburbs. Eventually Lexi would become the lyrical girl friday to then unknown guitarist and arranger, Gary O'bryan (now known as one of the musical co-writer of B. Spears'/Madonna single "Me Against the Music" - remember that catchy guitar intro? They are a musical enclave unto their own in this categorical format driven world, this album would prove it, if it weren't so catchy! With a full band now; colluding with other Atlanta musicians Matt Walker, Sean Delson and Mitch Flanders. The new band (post album), is bursting forth new material that they've all been so fervently writing and has all the yen and appeal we come to know and love as we look back on our now favorite bands beginnings.
