Biography
In a world consumed with greed, hate, apathy, & despair, it is easy to overlook what truly matters in life. Since March 2006, Veronicas Veil has been reaching fans from around the globe with their influential lyrics, alluring melodies, and compelling instrumentation.

Long before the formation of Veronicas Veil, Randy Winter visualized a concept that had not yet been embraced by the music industry. He imagined a band with male and female lead vocals. In his words, "It blows my mind that this concept hasn't been done in a mainstream market yet. Some artists have collaborated, but it has never been a bands entire focus." His first obstacle was obtaining other musicians with the same beliefs and passions as his own.

Jesse Carroll was the first to bond musically with Randy in previous bands. Prior to their meeting, playing guitar had merely been a pastime for Jesse. Over time he realized that music wasn't only a part of his life, it was his life. Percussionist Tim Ross was the next addition to Veronicas Veil. Tim and Randy became friends while playing together in their high school drumline. Much like the other members, Tim pursued music by playing in the grueling Jacksonville music scene after high school. Needing a bass guitarist, the band contacted Mike Parker, a previous member of Randy and Jesses former projects. Mike was an obvious choice, eliminating worry of talent or chemistry.

June 20, 2006, Veronicas Veil found the missing piece to their puzzle, Jordyn Jackson. At the time, Jordyn was a solo artist, struggling to find the right musicians. Just two days after being contacted by Randy, the two knew it was perfect. "Before Veronicas Veil, I was stuck. I'd been trying so hard to put a project together, and then out of the blue this opportunity was handed to me. Without meaning to sound cliche, this all came at such a perfect time in all of our lives, it feels like fate," said Jordyn.

Like most bands, the goal for Veronicas Veil is to sell multi-platinum records and play sold out arenas, but their purpose is not ordinary by any means. Through their lyrics, Randy and Jordyn want to make an imprint on people's minds and souls. The band's focus is on writing music that is timeless and meaningful. It was once written that, "it is the troubadours that shape the generations". Veronicas Veil has a mission - to be the positive inspiration for their generation. Comments (0)
