Biography

Hailing from Caerphilly comes Forever And A Day. A young 4 piece metal-core band. Where their only intention is getting their music heard to others.

The band formed early September 2003 after LukeB (vox) and Ghosty’s (drums) pervious band split up. The new school year would be the ideal situation to form a new band.

During the summer LukeW emailed LukeB about starting a new band, after hearing his old band had split. LukeW had a bassist in mind (enter Matt Birch), and LukeW had a drummer in mind (enter Ghosty).

Before the bands first gig (Oz bar, Cardiff – 30/01/04), they decided to record a 2 track demo at LongWave Studios. Which is still receiving good reviews and also label interest. Since then the band have played many shows, including gigs at Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff Barfly, MS1 and many more around the South Wales area.

The next step for the band is to record a new e.p or mini album, which will be released through a local indie label (more details will be revealed shortly), and plans for a tour are on the horizon too.

Keep an ear to the ground…because Forever And A Day are coming.
