Biography
Device 1461 was formed in March of 2003 in Wichita, KS. As one of the most promising original rock bands in the state, Device quickly firmed its position as a local heavy hitter, getting regular rotation airplay on the likes of alternative station KANR with 3 different singles. Device has also been a featured artist on XM Radio Unsigned, as well as on KICTs Budweiser True Music CD 2004. Through touring the area, playing clubs statewide and landing larger gigs like the Wichita River Festival Rock Showcase and KU Jay Play Live Showcase, Device has established a strong local following. In the summer of 2004, Device went into the studio recording a new self-titled EP with Marc Jordan (American Popular, Gaskit), and picked up a management and development deal from Kings of A&R. Labeled as a band to watch by all that hear, Device is now ready to expand their fan base and bring their music to a larger audience. Comments (0)
